Section: 03              EXPLANATION:

On Page: 100             This amendment earmarks $500,000 for the Minority
                         Outreach Program at the Rafael Penalver Clinic, Inc. in
Spec App:  575           Dade County.

DELETE the existing paragraph of proviso language following Specific 
Appropriation 575:

And INSERT the following language:

From  the  funds  in  Specific  Appropriation 575, $300,000 in recurring
General  Revenue  is  provided  for  the  Jessie Trice Cancer Prevention
Project,  $300,000  in  recurring  General  Revenue  is provided for the
statewide Sickle Cell Outreach Program, $100,000 in recurring General
Revenue  is  provided  for  the  Community Environmental Health Advisory
Board (CEHAB) and its pilot projects, and $500,000 in recurring General
Revenue is provided for the Minority Outreach Program at the Rafael
Penalver Clinic, Inc.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
