Section: 4               EXPLANATION:

On Page: 114             Removes proviso prohibiting State Attorneys from
                         spending GR on Truancy Intervention services. The
Spec App:  820           amendment maintains the level of the cut, but allows
                         State Attorneys to fund the program from existing
                         resources.

In Section 4, on Page 114, immediately preceding Specific Appropriation 
820, DELETE the following:

No State Attorney's Office shall use General Revenue funds provided in
Specific Appropriations 820 through 922 for the purpose of Truancy
Intervention.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
