Section: 03 EXPLANATION:
On Page: 103 Restores $738,000 in general revenue funds to enable an
increase in the Department of Veterans' Affairs nursing
Spec App: 620 home staffing level to 2.9 hours of direct care per
resident per day. This amendment uses general revenue
funds not currently appropriated in the General
Appropriations Act which will become available if the
2003 changes to the U.S. Internal Revenue Code related
to bonus depreciation are not adopted for purposes of
the Florida corporate income tax this session.
