On Page: 052             Earmarks up to $50,000 from funds from the James and
                         Esther King Biomedical Research Program to the state's
Spec App:  536           historical black colleges and universities.

Immediately following Specific Appropriation 536, INSERT:

From the funds in Specific Appropriation 536, up to $50,000 in general
revenue funds may be used for collaborative biomedical research projects
within the state's historical black colleges and universities.  

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
