The Committee on Transportation & Economic Development Appropriations 
(Dockery) recommended the following amendment:

Section: 06              EXPLANATION:

On Page: 031             Provides from non-recurring general revenue an
                         additional $750,000 to Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI),
Spec App: 2495           bringing the total for EFI up to $10.75 million; and
                         provides $250,000 from non-recurring general revenue
                         for the South East Japan Association.  Funds are
                         obtained by reducing the funding provided in the
                         Economic Development Tools specifically allocated for
                         aerospace industries within the Office of Tourism,
                         Trade and Economic Development (OTTED), bringing that
                         total from $5 million down to $4 million.

Funds  provided  in Specific Appropriation 2495 for Economic Development
Tools  include  funding  for  Qualified  Targeted  Industries, Qualified
Defense  Contractors,  and  High  Impact  Performance Incentives.  These
funds  shall  not  be  released  for any other purpose and shall only be
disbursed when projects meet the contracted performance requirements.

From  the  funds  provided  in  Specific Appropriation 2495 for economic
development  tools,  $5,000,000 from non-recurring general revenue funds
shall be used exclusively for aerospace businesses and industries.




Immediately following Specific Appropriation 2495, INSERT:

Funds in Specific Appropriation 2495 shall be allocated as follows:

From non-recurring general revenue:
Economic Development Tools..................................  22,505,000

From non-recurring trust funds:
Economic Development Tools - Local Match....................   4,876,250

Funds  provided  in Specific Appropriation 2495 for Economic Development
