Economic Development Tools IOEA
At the end of existing proviso language, following Specific
Appropriation 2495, INSERT:
From the general revenue funds provided in Specific Appropriation 2495
for economic development tools, $258,000 shall be used for development
of recommendations regarding the establishment of a Florida vaccine
research institute in Leon County. A report with the recommendations
shall include, but not be limited to, an economic development plan, a
business plan, and a scientific program planning schedule. There shall
also be established a board of scientific advisors who will work with
Enterprise Florida, Inc., and the Florida Department of Health. The
report containing the findings and recommendations shall be submitted to
the Governor, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the
President of the Senate by January 1, 2006.
Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items. |
