The Committee on Ways and Means (Fasano) recommended the following
amendment:
Section: 06 EXPLANATION:
On Page: 283 Increases general revenue funding for Department of
State's cultural grants (from $9.1 million to $11.6
Spec App: 2504A million), historic museum grants (from $1.3 million to
$1.75 million), and historic preservation grants (from
$1.5 million to $2.0 million). Funds are obtained by
fund shifting $107,000 to available trust funds in the
Historical Resources Program, reducing unneeded base
budget general revenue in the elections program
($525,000), and by reducing new general revenue funding
for film industry incentives in the Office of Tourism,
Trade and Economic Development from $5.1 million to
$2.3 million.
