CS/SB 1290: Education/Juvenile Justice
GENERAL BILL by Education ; Horne
Education/Juvenile Justice; requires public schools of state to provide instruction for youth in Juvenile Justice Dept. programs; requires development of model contracts for delivery of educational services to youth in department programs; requires DOE to provide training & technical assistance; authorizes establishment of district advisory councils for juvenile justice education programs; requires student access to GED programs; requires certain funding, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $100,000.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
