CS/SB 1870: Presentence Investigation Reports

GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Clary

Presentence Investigation Reports; creates "Blair Benson Act"; authorizes limited review of certain confidential investigative records of DOC; requires state attorney to permit victim, victim's parent or guardian, or victim's next of kin to review copy of presentence investigation report; requires that confidential information be redacted from report; requires any person who reviews report to maintain confidentiality of report. Amends 945.10, 960.001.
