GENERAL BILL by Jacobs ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Heyman ; Effman ; Gottlieb

Driving Under Influence; increases penalty imposed for fourth or subsequent conviction of DUI; increases penalties imposed for causing damage to property or serious bodily injury while DUI; provides that it is first-degree felony to cause death of another while DUI; deletes provisions that impose enhanced penalty if person causes death of another while DUI, knew or should have known that accident occurred, & failed to give information & render aid. Amends 316.193.
