GENERAL BILL by Health Care Services ; Goode ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Melvin ; Peaden ; Hart ; Barreiro ; Brown ; Farkas ; Fiorentino ; Valdes ; Casey ; Greenstein ; Villalobos ; Sanderson ; Ritchie ; Fasano ; Miller ; Cosgrove

HMOs/Deceptive Practices/Contracts; provides that described adverse actions by HMO against health care provider constitute unfair method of competition & unfair or deceptive act or practice; prohibits termination of contract between HMO & said provider under specified conditions; provides for continued coverage & care of subscribers when contractual agreement between HMO or prepaid health clinic & treating provider is terminated for any reason other than for cause, etc. Amends FS.
