GENERAL BILL by Effman ; Levine ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sanderson ; Merchant ; Trovillion ; Jacobs

Red Light Safety Act of 2000; creates said act; defines term "traffic infraction detector"; creates pilot project in Palm Beach & Broward Counties administered by HSMV; authorizes counties & municipalities in pilot project to enact ordinances permitting use of said detectors; provides penalties for traffic control signal violations detected by said detectors; provides that traffic infraction detectors must meet certain requirements, etc. Amends 316.003,.0745, 320.03.
