GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Campbell
Insurance/Rate Filings; deletes provisions authorizing certain associations to require rate arbitration of rate filings; revises definition of term "covered claim" for purposes of Fla. Insurance Guaranty Association; requires DOR to conduct study & submit report to Legislature re distributing premium taxes; repeals specific provision re insurer's alternative under rate standards to require arbitration of rate filings, etc. Amends Ch. 627, 631.
