SB 1548: Prosecution of Juveniles
GENERAL BILL by Brown-Waite ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cowin
Prosecution of Juveniles; requires that state attorney prosecute juvenile between certain ages as adult if juvenile is charged with specified violent felony & possessed firearm or destructive device during commission of felony in certain circumstances or discharged firearm or destructive device during commission of felony which resulted in death or great bodily harm; authorizes DOC to spend allocated resources to advertise penalties provided in this act, etc. Amends 985.227.
