CS/SB 1534: Department of Corrections
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Crist
Department of Corrections; revises requirements for department re calculating credit allowed to defendant for time served; provides for disciplinary hearing officer rather than disciplinary committee to determine forfeiture of gain-time; eliminates requirement that department provide remediation programs for officers who cannot comply with continuing education requirements because of learning disabilities, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $200,000.
