Law Officer/Background Investigation; provides specified requirements of employers re background investigation of applicant for employment or appointment as full-time, part-time, or auxiliary law enforcement officer, correctional officer, or correctional probation officer; provides requirements re authorization to release information; defines terms "employing agency" & "employment information"; provides qualified immunity from civil liability for release, etc.
