GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Dawson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Miller

Testing of Inmates for HIV; defines term "HIV test"; requires DOC to perform HIV test before inmate is released if inmates's HIV status is unknown; requires that DOC notify county health department where inmate plans to reside following release if inmate is HIV positive; requires department to provide special transitional assistance to inmate who is HIV positive, etc. Creates 944.355; amends 945.10, 381.004, 944.704; reenacts 945.10(1)(a).
