CS/SB 300: Prosecuting Crime/Time Limitations

GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Miller ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lawson

Prosecuting Crime/Time Limitations; provides that certain time limitations for prosecuting crime do not apply if alleged perpetrator of offense of sexual battery or lewd or lascivious battery is identified, after expiration of such applicable time period, by analysis of DNA collected during investigation of crime or otherwise made available to law enforcement agency. Amends 775.15.
