CS/HB 1871: Long-term Care Services
GENERAL BILL by The Future of Florida's Families ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fiorentino
Long-term Care Services; provides that certain prior offenses shall be considered in conducting employment screening, notwithstanding provisions of specified provision; requires applicants for licensure as nursing home to provide proof of legal right to occupy property; provides alternative method of providing notice to assisted living facility that license must be renewed; provides for deposit of civil monetary fines, etc. Amends Chs. 400, 408, 409.9116, 430.502.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
