CS/SB 144: HIV Infection Testing/Newborns
GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care ; Lynn
HIV Infection Testing/Newborns; requires all newborn infants to be tested at time of delivery for HIV infection; provides for notification to mother of infant's HIV test results; requires that information be provided to mother about medical & support services if infant's test results are positive; provides exemption from testing requirements based on religious beliefs of parent or legal guardian. Amends 384.31.
