GENERAL BILL by Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Campbell ; Aronberg

Electronic Mail Communications Act; creates provisions re unsolicited commercial electronic mail; prohibits person from initiating or assisting in initiation of unsolicited commercial electronic mail under certain circumstances; provides that provider of Internet access service is not required to undertake certain actions re such mail; authorizes Legal Affairs Dept. to enforce act; provides statute-of-limitations period, etc. Creates 668.60-.6075.
