CS/HB 105: Life Insurance & Annuity Contracts
GENERAL BILL by Llorente ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Flores ; Homan ; Lopez-Cantera ; Planas ; Zapata
Life Insurance & Annuity Contracts; provides that certificate of authority is not required of insurers domiciled outside U.S. for certain life insurance policies or annuity contracts covering only persons who are not residents of U.S. & are not nonresidents illegally residing in U.S.; provides criteria, requirements, & limitations; provides for Insurance Regulation Office to determine when insurer is no longer eligible for exemption, etc. Amends 624.402.
