CS/CS/SB 370: Satisfaction of Debts

GENERAL BILL by Justice Appropriations ; Judiciary ; Campbell

Satisfaction of Debts; revises provisions re satisfaction of judgments & decrees; eliminates authority of judges to act under these provisions when there is no clerk of court; revises procedures for acquiring judgment lien; revises provisions re foreign judgments to apply only to out-of-country foreign judgments; provides for automatic dissolution of writ & discharge of garnishee of liability under certain circumstances, etc. Amends Chs. 55, 56, 77, 222, 319, 679, 701.
