GENERAL BILL by Ethics and Elections ; Posey
Initiative Procedures & Standards; revises requirements for verification of signatures on petitions; provides requirements for initiative sponsors filing for undue burden; provides procedures to contest alleged improper signature verification; revises procedures for placing initiative on ballot; provides for verifying & counting signatures submitted for verification before effective date of act; provides for severability, etc. Amends 99.097, 100.371, 101.161.
