GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Baker
Marine Insurance/Disputed Claims [EPCC]; provides nonadversarial alternative dispute-resolution procedure for handling marine insurance claims; requires DFS to adopt by rule marine insurance mediation program to be administered by DFS or its designee; requires that mediators in case of marine insurance policies be certified by The Florida Bar in admiralty & maritime law or have certain other experience & training in that area, etc. Amends 627.7015.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
