GENERAL BILL by Homan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Murzin
Patient Safety/Provider Liability; creates "Patient Safety & Provider Liability Act"; specifies certain authorized insurers who may make available liability insurance; provides limitation on noneconomic damages for hospital facility that complies with certain patient safety measures; provides requirements for certification as patient safety facility; provides requirements for hosp. to demonstrate that it is engaged in common enterprise for care & treatment, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $299,041.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
