GENERAL BILL by Geller ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lawson
Adolescent Offenders/Parole [LPCC]; Provides that an adolescent offender who was 15 years of age or younger at the time the criminal act was committed, was sentenced to life or to a single or cumulative term of imprisonment of 10 years or more, has served 8 years of the sentence, and has not been previously adjudicated for certain offenses, may be eligible for parole. Requires the adolescent offender to serve his or her sentence in a facility designated for youthful offenders, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
