Service Learning in the Public School System; Requires DOE to encourage school districts to initiate, adopt, expand, & institutionalize service-learning programs, activities, & policies in K-12; provides for department assistance to school districts that elect to implement service-learning activities; requires development & adoption of service-learning courses; authorizes service-learning activities to count toward graduation & academic awards.
