SB 1844: Locksmith Services [CPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Crist

Locksmith Services [CPSC]; Creates the Florida Locksmith Services Act. Preempts to the state the regulation of locksmith services and those performing such services. Provides rulemaking authority for the DOACS. Authorizes licensure by endorsement under certain circumstances. Requires a locksmith services business employer to meet certain requirements in order to employ persons as locksmiths or automotive-only locksmiths, etc.
