SB 326: Optometry [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Dean

Optometry [SPSC]; Revises definitions to conform to provisions authorizing the oral administration of ocular pharmaceutical agents by certain practitioners. Requires the Board of Optometry to adopt rules governing the administration and prescription of oral ocular pharmaceutical agents. Redefines the term "practitioner" for purposes of the Florida Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act to include certified optometrists, etc.
