CS/CS/SB 810: Unemployment Compensation [CPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Policy and Steering Committee on Ways and Means ; Commerce ; Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Hill ; Lynn

Unemployment Compensation [CPSC]; Raises the amount of an employee's wages subject to an employer's contribution to the trust fund, with a reversion to current law after January 1, 2015. Revises the rate and recoupment period for computing the employer contribution to the trust fund, with a reversion to current law for recoupment after January 1, 2015. Provides additional provisions dealing with disqualification for benefits under certain conditions, etc.

Effective Date: 06/01/2009 except as otherwise provided
