PROPOSED BILL by Finance and Tax
Assessment of Residential Real Property; Defines the terms "changes or improvements made for the purpose of improving a property's resistance to wind damage," "existing residential structure," and "new residential structure." Prohibits a property appraiser from considering such changes or improvements in determining the assessed value of residential property. Provides for application.
