SB 1742: Regulation of Professions
GENERAL BILL by Thrasher
Regulation of Professions; Authorizes the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to require a person licensed by or applying for a license from the department to be governed by provisions providing programs for impaired practitioners under the jurisdiction of the Division of Medical Quality Assurance within the Department of Health. Redefines the term "health care practitioner" as it relates to the regulation of health care professions to include those persons certified or licensed to provide medical transportation services or radiological services, etc.
