Animal Control; Provides procedure for adopting or humanely disposing of impounded stray livestock as alternative to sale or auction; requires sheriff or county animal control center to establish fees & be responsible for damages caused while impounding livestock; authorizes certain municipal animal control officers to take custody of animals found neglected or cruelly treated or to order owners to provide certain care; authorizes county courts to remand animals to custody of certain municipalities & require animal owners to pay for such care; authorizes allocation of auction proceeds to certain municipal animal control officers; provides applicability of local animal control ordinances.
