Behavioral Health Care Services; Revises Florida Mental Health Act; revises duration of involuntary outpatient & involuntary inpatient commitment orders; revises legislative intent with respect to mental health & substance abuse treatment services; revises criteria for involuntary admission for assessment, stabilization, & treatment for substance abuse impairment; specifies professionals authorized to execute certificate for emergency admission; prohibits court from charging fee for filing of petition for involuntary assessment, stabilization, or treatment; provides time limitation on court order authorizing involuntary assessment & stabilization; revises responsibilities of service providers who admit an individual for involuntary assessment & stabilization.
