GENERAL BILL by Judiciary Committee ; Justice Appropriations Subcommittee ; Criminal Justice Subcommittee ; Plakon ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Abruzzo ; Burgess ; Cortes, B. ; Hardemon ; Watson, C. ; Williams

Criminal History Records; Prohibits person or entity engaged in publishing or otherwise disseminating arrest booking photographs from soliciting or accepting payment to remove photograph; authorizes person whose photograph is published to request in writing that it be removed; requires removal of photograph within specified timeframe after written request; authorizes civil action to enjoin such publishing & civil penalty, attorney fees, & court costs; requires Criminal Justice Information Program to administratively seal criminal history records of adult or minor upon notification by clerk of court.
