GENERAL BILL by Newton
Criminal Justice; Deleting a prohibition against wearing or displaying certain badges or indicia of authority of certain federal, state, county, or municipal agencies without authorization; deleting a requirement that the prosecuting attorney open the closing arguments after the closing of evidence in a criminal prosecution; deleting a requirement that a person convicted and sentenced to death pursue all possible collateral remedies in state court in accordance with specified rules.
Effective Date: upon becoming a law
