GENERAL BILL by Hogan Johnson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fernandez-Barquin

Criminal Sentencing; Increases sentence points requiring nonstate sanction in certain circumstances; requires findings for sentences above maximum sentence recommended under Criminal Punishment Code; removes authority for judge to impose sentence up to statutory maximum for probation & community control violations; removes provision limiting appeals of sentences to circumstances when sentence is lower than lowest permissible sentence or other specified circumstances; increases minimum number of sentence points for state prison sanction; revises calculation of lowest permissible sentence in prison months.
