Incarcerated Pregnant Women; Revising the circumstances under which a prisoner who is known to be pregnant may not be restrained; specifying conditions under which restraints may be used; requiring the Department of Corrections, correctional facilities, and certain agencies to develop policies that meet certain requirements for the use of restraints on prisoners known to be pregnant; providing requirements for the care of the prisoner after she has given birth and of the prisoner’s infant; prohibiting the involuntary placement of pregnant prisoners in restrictive housing, etc.
