GENERAL BILL by Yeager
Beverage Law; Authorizes the transferring of malt beverages & other alcoholic beverages to licensed facility; authorizes craft breweries to sell & deliver certain number of barrels of malt beverages to licensed vendor; authorizes craft breweries to conduct tastings & sales of malt beverages at specified events; requires Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco of DBPR to issue permit for such events; authorizes craft breweries that deliver malt beverages to transport such beverages; provides for distribution agreement between beer distributor & craft brewery; provides for territory representation by distributors who enter into distribution agreements; requires craft brewery to repurchase its product upon termination of distribution agreement; requires arbitration of specified disputes; authorizes transfer of beer or malt beverages between contract brewer & contracting brewer in specified amount pursuant to contract brewing agreement; provides that licensed manufacturer seeking to engage in contract brewing must meet certain requirements; requires specified qualification & submitting of certain information before engaging in alternating proprietorship brewing.
