GENERAL BILL by Cobb
Juvenile Justice; Authorizes Governor to award Medal of Heroism to juvenile detention & juvenile probation officers; authorizes certain entities to establish award program to award Medal of Valor to juvenile detention officer or probation officer in certain circumstances; clarifies that certain reference to department is reference to DJJ; provides that child subject to proceedings under chapter 984 may only be placed in shelter in certain circumstances.
