Pub. Rec./Code Inspector Body Camera Recordings; Provides exemption from public records requirements for body camera recordings recorded by code inspector; provides exceptions; requires local government to retain body camera recordings for specified period; provides for retroactive application; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemption; provides statement of public necessity.
Effective Date: This act shall take effect on the same date that HB 539 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law.
