The bill provides that the licensing requirements for private security services are inapplicable to volunteers who provide armed security services on the premises of a church, mosque, synagogue, or other place of worship.
If approved by the Governor, or allowed to become law without the Governor's signature, these provisions take effect on July 1, 2026.
