All state and local agencies to cooperate in administration of chapter.
—The department is empowered to call on any state, county, special district, or municipal agency, department, bureau, or board for any information or assistance which may, in its judgment, be of assistance in administering, or preparing for the administration of, this chapter, and such state, county, special district, or municipal agency, department, bureau, or board is hereby authorized, directed, and required to furnish such information or assistance.
