CS/SB 2562: Water Management Districts
GENERAL BILL by Natural Resources ; Laurent ; Brown-Waite ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Latvala
Water Management Districts; (THIS BILL COMBINES S2562,1836) authorizes use of Global Positioning System in conducting surveys of wetlands; provides that Legislature shall adopt or modify program priorities for WMD budgets; provides that districts shall incorporate these program priorities in developing their budgets; creates Independent Public Fiscal Office to provide fiscal oversight for each WMD on behalf of people of state, etc. Amends 373.421,.536; creates 373.0835.
