CS/HB 3539: Notification of Escaped Prisoner
GENERAL BILL by Corrections ; Ritter ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Heyman ; Cosgrove ; Crist
Notification of Escaped Prisoner; clarifies applicability of notification requirements to private correctional facilities; requires that state attorney notify sentencing judge of escaped offender; requires institution of confinement to notify state attorney when escaped offender is subsequently captured & when escaped offender is returned to institution of confinement. Amends 960.001.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
