SB 468: Community Hospital Protection Act
GENERAL BILL by Klein
Community Hospital Protection Act; creates said act; provides for sale, lease, exchange, conveyance, merger, or other transfer of assets or management authority of nonprofit hospital to for-profit enterprise; provides prerequisites to such transfer, including provision by nonprofit hospital of certain statements & notice, & conduct of public hearings; provides for Attorney General or state attorney to challenge such proposed transaction through action for declaratory judgment, etc.
