SB 540: Emergency Medical Care Providers
GENERAL BILL by Lee
Emergency Medical Care Providers; redefines term "emergency medical care providers" to clarify such persons must be engaged in performance of duties; provides that term includes enumerated personnel of hospital's emergency department; provides that enhanced penalties & certain minimum sentences apply if person is convicted of assault or battery against emergency medical care provider. Amends 784.07.
