SB 548: Family Bill of Rights Act

GENERAL BILL by Ostalkiewicz

Family Bill of Rights Act; creates said act; specifies circumstances under which agent of CFS Dept. or law enforcement officer may take child into protective custody without court order; requires that court conduct emergency hearing within specified period after child is taken into custody; provides that it is first degree misdemeanor for agent of dept. to take child into custody without court order except under specified circumstances, etc. Amends FS.
