CS/SB 1260: Sexual Predators & Offenders
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Brown-Waite
Sexual Predators & Offenders; streamlines sexual predator registration; amends sexual predator definition; requires that DOC or custodian of local jail notify FDLE if sexual predator escapes from custody, absconds from supervision, or dies; deletes current exemption from registration if sexual predator has civil rights restored; authorizes petition for removal of registration requirements by minor if specific criteria are met, etc. Amends FS.
